Due to the complicated shipping laws Galway Rock Winery is only able to ship wines to addresses inside New York State.
Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Galway Rock Winery is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
If weather between us and you gets really hot (or really cold) we will hold packages until the heat wave (cold snap) passes. This may delay your shipment for a week or more. Please contact us if you want us to ship sooner during unusually hot or cold weather, we tend to not ship wine, or we ship only if your order will arrive by Friday. We do this to preserve the quality of our wines and ensure they arrive to you in premium condition.
